Haven't had a journal in awhile. That writing explosion fizzled. I haven't been able to finish anything, though I keep working on things, over and over again. Finally decided that I need to have a page goal each week. Thankfully, I got Katie to agree to be the receptacle for the work. I'm not even asking her to read it. Just to hit "reply" on her email with a message of either something along the lines of "Congratulations. You win as a human being" if I sent her the amount I was supposed to each week, or "EPIC FAIL!" if I don't send her pages each week. Hopefully this new system will work. I just need to write, and keep writing, and keep writing until my fingers bleed and endings have been found.

Just found out about Canon's new camera, the EOS 5D Mark II, and am in love. It's so backordered on BH, that I can't even get on the waiting list to find out when it's in stock again. *Sigh* I need a sugar daddy to pay for my camera needs. That includes a film lab as well as digital niftiness. Just kidding. I could never have a sugar daddy. It'd feel too... wrong. But damn this camera is awesome.

Been reading reviews, and it's getting mostly good ones. The ones that complain are mostly about the video on it, which I don't really care about, and that sometimes with bright lights and high contrast black dots are appearing... random. But hopefully Canon'll fix that soon, and I'll sell one of my kidneys and one of my lungs and some of my plasma and I'll be able to buy it...
